Summer 2025 Update
Posted on June 20th, 2025
BitWorld 1.1.4 – Summer 2025 Update is here!
The temperatures are rising again in the world of Bits, and you know what that means, it’s time to head back to the sun-soaked shores of Farfair Island! Grab your sunhat and take a boat west of Lucador, where the locals are preparing for their annual festival.
Explore the island, uncover its quirky legends, and soak in the summer vibes. There are plenty of cool cosmetics to unlock while you’re helping out. Can you collect them all before the event fades away with the season?

Daily activities
This update also introduces something for our most dedicated adventurers: repeatable daily activities to keep your journey fresh every day!
Hunts
After starting the “Crazy Bill” questline, you can speak to the hunter in the guild to receive 3 randomized monster-slaying assignments. These tasks may target specific monsters like 5 Froggors, or broader categories like 5 Amphibians.

Each completed assignment earns you hunt tokens, and once all three are done – you’ll face off against a special mini-boss!
- 17 multi-colored monster variants have been added just for this feature.
- These unique variants replace the first encounter in a zone where their normal version spawns.
- A brand new Hunt Highscore Page has been added so you can show off your daily progress!

Useful commands:
/hunt– Shows your current assignments/cancelhunt– Cancels the current hunt (Note: You can only start one new hunt per day!)
Wandering Trader
This mysterious vendor roams the Plains with a new location each day. Track them down and spend your hard-earned hunt tokens on:
- XP Lamps
- Coin Purses
- Unique Cosmetics
If you find the trader and post their location on the guild’s notice board, you’ll earn an extra token for helping others!

Mobile Browser Beta
Behind the scenes, we’ve been porting BitWorld to the latest version of our engine, Unity, and that means something very exciting:
You can now play BitWorld directly in your mobile browser!
Visit the website on your phone and click play, you will be automatically redirected.
We’ve added a simple touch navigation pad that shows up when we detect you’re on a touchscreen. When interacting with NPCs, gathering items, or diving into dialog, the whole screen becomes an “Interact” button.
While the game is now fully playable on smartphones, there are a few things to keep in mind:
- Some buttons might be small or awkwardly placed (mobile UI is still a work-in-progress).
- The browser’s navigation bar will stay visible for now (not full-screen yet).
- Sound may not work reliably on some Apple devices.
We’d love to hear your feedback as we continue improving the mobile experience!

Lighthouse Update
And finally, a small but meaningful change: the lighthouse map has received a fresh coat of paint – its once-square floorplan is now circular, making it feel more like the proper beacon of Riptide Gulf.

That’s all for now! Whether you’re chasing frogs for tokens or just soaking in the sun on Farfair Island, we hope BitWorld 1.1.4 brings a refreshing breeze to your summer.
Happy hunting, and don’t forget your sunscreen!
